Marnham Fields Woodland – Saturday 25th February 2017
Activity
Planting fruit and nut whips (young trees).
Background
Trees for Cities (the organisers of the tree planting event) is working in partnership with Ealing Council to create a vibrant edible community woodland in Marnham Fields. The field has some existing woodland planting by the community years ago. The rest has been low-biodiversity scrubland. This project will enrich the area, counteracting the A40 road which is right next door, and providing a beautiful place for people to relax and forage for fruits and nuts.
