Join us for the third event in the series titled “Does Islam advocate capitalism? ” in conversation with Dr Kadom Shubber on 23rd March 2019 at 6:30pm!
Dr Kadom Shubber specializes in finance, investment, international business, Islamic banking/finance, and general management, with a rich and varied experience stretching over a period exceeding four decades, both in the UK and his native country (Iraq).
He has written five academic books in Arabic and translated-cum-edited a major classical work on Islamic Economics from Arabic to English. This includes his 2010 book “The Islamic Economic Doctrine: A Comparative Study”, and translation and commentary of Iqtisaduna (Our Economics) by Muhammad Baqir Al-Sadr
Dr Shubber is also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, as well as the UK-based Association of International Accountants. In addition, he is a long-standing member of the Chartered Institute of Management in Britain.
