IUS Manchester Eid al-Fitr 2018

About this Event

In the name of Allah the Beneficent the Merciful.

We are approaching the end of the Holy Month Ramadhan and are pleased to announce the IUS Manchester Eid al Fitr Celebration which will take place on Saturday 16th June 2018 @ 10AM.

The event will begin with congregational prayer (*subject to moon siting), followed by cake and photography competition awards, quiz competition, raffles, Zuhr/Asr salat and lunch.

Zakat al-Fitra

This Eid, IUS will be supporting needy orphans in Iraq in collaboration with Al Ayn. Zakat al Fitrah can be given at any time in Shahr Ramadan with the intention of a loan that it reaches the needy by Eid. It is obligatory to give it on Eid day before Eid prayers. We have calculated the zakat to be £5/person.

• 12:30pm Raffle prize awards
• 1:09pm Zuhr Salat
• 1:30pm Lunch
