Salaam Alaikom,
Insha Allah this message finds you in the best of health
IUS are delighted to announce the comeback of our sisters monthly book club
The first book on our list will be “Adab as-salat- The Disciplines of Prayer” by Imam Khomeini.
Prayer is a blessing that has been bestowed upon us that we may become closer to the Almighty. Indeed, its importance is such that it has been said
“The first thing about which the servant is questioned is the salat, if it was accepted his other (worshipping) acts would be accepted, and if it was returned to him, his other acts would be returned to him (too)”-
Prayer is something that we are constantly striving to perfect, and this book offers a detailed explanation of the disciplines and moral secrets of prayer. We would love for you to join us on this journey to explore the meaning behind our prayers and to discuss practical methods of increasing our connection with Allah (SWT)
