Peace be with you,
بِسمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحمٰنِ الرَّحيمِ

On behalf of the Islamic Unity Society (IUS), we would like to extend our warm wishes to you and your families on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr.
We are thankful to Allah (swt) for have been given the opportunity to re-establish and strengthen our relationship with Him, ourselves and the society we live in. Although the month of Ramadhan was different to usual. We have had the opportunity to engage in learning, prayers, and contemplation. This blessed month provided us with an opportunity to seek closeness to Allah (swt) and re-evaluate the purpose of our life and the path we are taking in this journey.
In addition to our successful online events, this year IUS volunteers across the country have also been busy working on internal work to streamline processes, improve quality standards and refresh our vision and strategy. We’re really excited to share our future plans with you soon inshAllah and so keep an eye on our website and social media handles for our Vision2020+.
Also, during this holy month of Ramadhan we also coordinated a full reading of the Holy Quran (Khatma) by our nation wide volunteers.

We are very grateful for your kind support both financially and with your time, especially to our volunteers who make things happen. Thanks to your support we are able to help to continue to spread the message of our Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAWA) and help empower British Muslim youth.
We pray that we can continue to work together and inshAllah achieve our vision of Muslim youth who are strong, united and active contributors in society.
Imam Hussain Blood Donation Campaign (IHBDC) are delighted to announce that, in collaboration with the Muslim Council of Britain (MCB) and Muslims Give Blood (MGB), our Eid Al-Fitr blood donation drive is now live! On an occasion where we are accustomed to giving and receiving gifts, so if you’re fit and healthy why not celebrate by signing up to one of the available sessions near you, to give the wonderful gift of life!
National Health Service Blood and Transplant (NHSBT) have advised to continue to donate blood as patients still require these lifesaving donations. Most donor centres remain open and running as normal with extra safety measures for donors and staff in place. Rest assured, giving blood is considered as essential travel and so you won’t be breaking the lockdown rules! Please be aware of the eligibility criteria for giving blood during coronavirus by watching this video.
