Mulla Asghar Memorial & Cemetery Visit

IUS and SJ invite you to the annual memorial visit for Mulla Asgarali at Carpenders Park cemetery.

Date: Saturday 19th March 2016

Ladies: 11.00am – 12.00pm
Speaker: Sister Amina Inloes

Gents: 1.30pm – 2.30pm
Speaker: Sheikh Mohammed Al-Hilli

The hour will consist of Quran recitation, a short talk and reflection time. Please arrive at 11am or 1.30pm sharp.

Event Aims:

• Encourage us to reflect more on our deeds
• Remember our purpose in this life
• Know what cemeteries are really for (as unfortunately images portrayed by movies etc are very negative)
• Learning from other participant’s different points of views

Marhum Mulla Asghar passed away on 21st March 2000. He was fondly known throughout the community in London, a learned scholar and respected community leader.He has left a legacy of enormous magnitude that scores are benefitting and many aspire to emulate.
