Voice of Unity (VOU) Magazine

The Voice of Unity (VOU) is the quarterly magazine of the IUS. It is run by a volunteer editorial team of youth and aims to cover a wide spectrum of issues relevant to Muslim youth in the UK. It is distributed to subscribing IUS members by post, but anyone is welcome to contribute their written pieces.

The VOU started out as a bi-monhtly IUS Newsletter in September 1995 at eight pages. By September 1998, it was rebranded as the Voice of Unity and had grown to 16 pages with increasing contributions. Come January 2004, the VOU changed format to a 24 page quarterly magazine. The VOU was relaunched in October 2008 as a 28 page magazine with a contemporary new logo and layout and continues to thrive.

You may have come to this page from the above link. We are working on a dedicated website for the VOU magazine to host all the articles from our archives since 1995 and allow people to more easily subscribe and purchase issues. However due to a lack of funds and volunteers, this is taking longer than expected. Please contact us to help out or alternatively watch this space.
