Blood Donation Campaign

The IUS Imam Hussain National Blood Donation campaign was set up in 2006 and has been running annually since. It seeks to encourage members of the Muslim population to donate blood for the sake of humanity in rememberance of the tragedy of Imam Hussain that is marked during the holy month of Muharram. This video features Ayatollah Sayyid Fadhil Milani and Sayed Mahdi Modarresi talking about the merits of donating blood in Islam.
